Financial Planning Team

Kevin Korhorn (CFP®, ChFC, AIF®)

Certified Financial Planner® / Owner and Founder

Kevin began his career with American Express Financial Advisors in 1994.  In 2002, he launched Korhorn Financial Group with the vision of becoming an independent, multi-disciplinary financial services firm.  Under his leadership, the firm added tax and accounting services, an independent insurance agency, and a retirement plan services division to its core financial planning and investment services.  With offices in 6 communities and clients throughout the US and abroad, Korhorn Financial Group is on its way toward its vision of "changing the world-one financial life at a time."

Though Kevin wears the hat of CEO and entrepreneurial visionary, it is the role of Financial Advisor that he relishes most.  Specifically, Kevin helps high income and high net worth clients find ways to leverage their resources to achieve their most fulfilling goals and purposes.  Most days you will also find Kevin working side-by-side with a younger colleague that he is helping to mentor into our profession.

Kevin has served three years in the United States Army and five years in the Army Reserve.  He also graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a major in Finance.  Kevin is a Certified Financial Planner and a Chartered Financial Consultant.

Kevin and his wife, Lori, live in Niles, Michigan with their three wonderful children.  As an active member at Harvest Bible Chapel, Granger, Kevin has served as an elder and has led their church planting initiatives in Liberia since 2012.  Though Kevin keeps his life especially full, beekeeping is the hobby that currently has him most captivated.

Suzy and Don enjoy playing competitive board games and card games with friends.  She is an active member of Trinity Evangelical Free Church and is a group leader in Bible Study Fellowship.  Suzy’s desires are to stay young at heart, to relish each day the Lord gives to her and to be a blessing to everyone with whom she spends her day.
